Freeway A8 Milano-Laghi. At first the direction Varese omitting Como is chosen. Therefore, to Gallarate, one lets the Varese direction and the A8 in order to take towards Gravellona Toce following the A26; the possible escapes are Vergiate-Sesto Calende or Arona, Gravellona Toce, Verbania. From Sesto Calende the SS33 of the Sempione is on the piemont shore. |

Freeway A26 Genoa-Gravellona Toce, via Alessandria and Vercelli-Novara; it is continued until the escapes Castelletto Ticino, Arona, Gravellona Toce or Verbania. |

Swiss freeway N 2 from Basel to Lugano, through the tunnel of the Gottardo. South is exited to Bellinzona and the indications for the Lago Maggiore are followed, catching up Locarno and Ascona in Switzerland or direction Maccagno and Luino in Italy. It can also be continued on the Swiss freeway N 2 until Ponte Tresa, near Lugano and of the airport of Lugano, and therefore to follow the indications for Luino, Laveno or Varese. |
