on the state-road "Sempione" and handy reachable from the  motorways, Dormelletto is an important industrial and tourist resort of the
Verbano's south-west shore, between Arona and Sesto Calende.
The village presents a parish church in a panoramic spot, with
remains of a Romanesque construction (12th century). Worth mentioning the
stud "Dormello Olgiata" (Race-horses breeding). Numerous on the lake the campings, equiped alse for
aquatic sports fans.
