Nebbiuno,
the Novi o Dunum known to the Gauls, has always lived
mainly on farming, which it has today developed and specialized.
The favourable geographical location and the good climate have made
Nebbiuno one of the most important flower centres in Italy. Azaleas, rhododendros
and camelias paint in bright colours the surrounding countryside.
The excellent Campiglia wine is also worth remembering (Campiglia is a
typical farming zone) as
well as its juicy apples and strawberries.
Craft is also important: in the included village of Fosseno it was given public importance
through the erection of a statue dedicated to the mason. Important events are in May the
walk among the azaleas and in June the strawberry fair. |
