The Collegiata was constructed in 1173 on the foundations of a pre-Christian temple, and was
always regarded as the centre of the village's social life. Although the facade was altered after 1876, the inside has maintained its Romanesque parts and those from successive periods. The division into three naves corresponds to the original form;
 also the lateral parts and the three decorated apses and the small columns are of Romanesque origin. Of additional interest is also a cycle of frescos dated 1510, the choir formed of carved stalls from the 16th century, and a still functional 18th century organ.
There nearby, you can find a panoramic site, with a beautiful view of the "Rocca di Caldé"
 . This place, the "pasqué", was in ancient times appointed to the winter pasture, in the centre of the old village.
