ROCCA DI CALDE'
(CASTELVECCANA)

Only few remains can you see today of the castle, the Rocca di Caldé, a little village in the municipality of Castelveccana. Between the rests, a big tower as war memorial. But from the topo of the hill ca you enjoy a beautiful panorama. From the locality of S. Pietro, to the north of Caldé, can you go along a simple path of 15 minutes on foot. During the slope, the look broadens gradually on the lake and on the mountains. You can find a parking in the Church square, and continue on foot. Moreover, the locality of Sarigo offers the opportunity of walking in old roads and arcades. The churches of S. Genesio (14th-17th century) and of S. Giorgio (12th century) deserve a visit.
